Ghorepani trek is one of the shortest treks of Annapurna region. The trek starts with the short drive from Pokhara to Nayapool and then the real trekking starts. We will be crossing many bamboo & rhododendron forests and large waterfalls. We reach maximum altitude of 3210m above the sea level. Poon Hill, situated along our trail has gained its reputation as an excellent view point. We would observe some famous mountain peaks such as Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Annapurna south, Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, Tukuche peak, Dhampus peak Fishtail Mountain. We find mixed culture of Gurung, Magar and Thakali in the region.

Itinerary of Poon Hill Chhomrung Trek:

Day 1: Kathmandu drives or flies to Pokhara then overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Pokhara drive to Nayapool then trek to Tikhedunga (1500m) about 4 hours then overnight at camp.
Day 3: Tikhedunga trek to Ghorepani (2800m) about 6 hours then overnight at lodge.
Day 4: This morning, we will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see superb view of sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas, back to hotel then trek to Tada Pani (2400M)
Day 5: Tadapani trek to Chhomrong (2700m) about 4 hours then over night at lodge
Day 6: Chhomrong trek to Ghandruk village (1900m) about 4 hours then overnight at lodge.
Day 7: Ghandruk Village trek to Nayapool about 4 hours then drive to Pokhara overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Pokhara drive or fly back to Kathmandu
